Can I get my money back if my membership is not what I had expected, after paying for a subscription?

You have 5 days to review the full material after your full subscription begins and will get your money back if you’re still not happy with what you have received. The 7 day trial period gives you a good idea of what you will get. All our study modules follow the same pattern and the grammar site offers the videos shown in the description of the grammar videos.[/dropdown_box]

As a trial member, do I get access to all the material on Swedish2go?

You will get the first lesson of every module, including pdf documents, quizzes and flashcards, so that you easier get an understanding of the progress through the courses. If you like what you see and get, you can easily choose one of our other affordable memberships and get a lot more.[/dropdown_box]

Do I have to commit to automatic renewals?

[dropdown_box expand_text=”Answer” show_more=”” show_less=”Hide” start=”hide”]No, we also offer memberships for 10 days, 3 months, and 12 months, with no automated renewal. If you want to keep your subscription after the expiry date, simply sign up for the desired membership again.[/dropdown_box]

How do I cancel my membership?

[dropdown_box expand_text=”Answer” show_more=”” show_less=”Hide” start=”hide”]If you are a 3 months or 12 months member, your membership will automatically expire at the end of your subscription and you must actively renew it yourself. If you are a monthly member, there is a link on the bottom of each page that guides you to the cancellation function. Your subsciption will end the same day you cancel it. You won’t be charged any more after your cancellation. Note that the cancellation must be done through PayPal’s website and not on Swedish2go.com.[/dropdown_box]

I don’t have a credit card nor a Paypal account. How can I become a member?

[dropdown_box expand_text=”Answer” show_more=”” show_less=”Hide” start=”hide”]If you live in Sweden you can choose to subscribe to our 3 or 12 months memberships and choose “Manual” when checking out. This will give you the chance to pay by Bankgiro. Just follow the directions. The process is not automated, so you will have to wait for up to 5 business days before your membership is activated. Your membership starts the day it gets activated, so you don’t lose any study days from your membership. At the moment, those are the only two payment options. More to come in the future.[/dropdown_box]

Are the Swedish2go courses made by an educated Swedish teacher?

[dropdown_box expand_text=”Answer” show_more=”” show_less=”Hide” start=”hide”]Yes, the founder Åsa Bouck has made the courses and has a Masters Education Degree in Swedish as a second language. She also has many years of experience working in the SFI program in Sweden. The teaching experience is from beginner to advanced  Swedish levels. Furthermore she also has experience of Swedish as a foreign language after working at the North Park University in Chicago, Illinois, USA, as well as running her own Swedish courses in Alberta, Canada.[/dropdown_box]

It says on the web page that I would get grammar quizzes by email, but I haven’t gotten anything. Why?

[dropdown_box expand_text=”Answer” show_more=”” show_less=”Hide” start=”hide”]The grammar quizzes are automatically sent out from about a week after your membership begins. When you completed your registration with Swedish2go, you received an email with the title: Please confirm subscription. If you don’t confirm this email, you will not be on our email list and will therefore not receive emails from us with grammar quizzes. As you confirm, you also get an option to choose email interests and language level. Fill this in, and your grammar quizzes will start coming shortly. It is important that you confirm the subscription to the list, so that you get important and relevant information from Swedish2go.
